‘gnomechomsky’
The GBP Short Story Prize 2018/19 is currently open to submissions. While it is, we'll be revisiting last year's fantastic longlist- and shortlistees, with links to their work.
Our eleventh finalist, from the 2016/17 longlist of 13 authors and shortlist of four, is Tom Spencer.
TOM SPENCER is a London expat teaching and writing in Montgomery, Alabama. He has published creative work in THAT, The Awl, and elsewhere. He is the author of a monograph on popular fiction, and his critical work has appeared in venues including the Times Literary Supplement.
Tom’s GBP Prize 2016/17 longlisted story, ‘gnomechomsky’, can be accessed here.
