JONATHAN GIBBS is a writer and critic. His novel Randall, or the Painted Grape, published by Galley Beggar Press, was longlisted for the Desmond Elliott Prize and shortlisted for the Figaro Prix du Livre de Voyage Urbain. His second book, The Large Door, is forthcoming from Boiler House Press. His short stories have appeared in Lighthouse, Gorse and South Circular, and in Salt’s Best British Short Stories 2014 and 2015. He curates a weekly short fiction recommendation tinyletter called A Personal Anthology that also has a website: www.apersonalanthology.com. He teaches Creative Writing at St Mary's University, Twickenham.
