GALLEY BEGGAR PRESS SHORT STORY PRIZE 2026/27

TIMNA FIBERT won the Galley Beggar Short Story Prize in 2023. She lives in London, and when not writing, works as an audio describer for the visually impaired. Timna studied English at St Anne’s College, Oxford, and has an MA in Creative Writing from Royal Holloway. Her debut novel, Pray Animal, a latter-day Noah’s Ark set on a cruise ship and narrated by a flea, is out with Footnote Press in March 2027.
